Usually the centrifugal pump is working in an extremely harsh environment, it pumps a large amount of sand-containing liquid for a long time. Therefore, the sealing of the shaft end is required to be very reliable, which is difficult to solve with sealing method of the general pump. At the same time, the pump is often damaged because the medium is abrasive and corrosive, thus required effectively blocking the solid particles from falling between the front and rear guard plates of the impeller. In addition, another very important issue is that the flow rate and head of the sand pump should be properly matched with the hydrocyclone(desander, desilter and jet mud mixer). Otherwise, the hydrocyclones cannot work normally.
