The screw pump is an ideal centrifuge feed pump in the mud purification system. It is different from other sewage pumps or impurity pumps. It can directly supply the centrifuge without shearing and stirring the slurry. Screw pumps can also be used for wet mud drilling waste treatment and drill cuttings transportation.
The screw pump is a positive displacement rotor pump, which relies on the volume change of the sealed cavity formed by the screw and the bushing to suck and discharge the liquid. The single screw pump is the ideal equipment for supplying slurry to the centrifuge. The main components are the screw shaft (rotor) and the screw sleeve (stator). The unique geometric shapes of the two parts can respectively produce squeezing volume, the waste slurry flows along the axis, the internal flow rate is low, and the capacity and pressure are kept stable, so that vortex and agitation are not generated. The screw pump can be driven by a coupler or through a variable speed motor to adjust the speed, a triangular V-belt, or a gearbox.
