HYANG designs and manufactures FG and ZG series mud tank in drilling rig. It's divided into square tanks and conical tanks according to the bottom shape of the tank.
Mud tank is an indispensable part of the mud circulation system which carries drilling mud from the wellhead to the mud pump. It can in turn complete the mud weighting, mixing, solid-liquid separation, degassing, and other processes. Mud tank carries drilling mud circulation from wellhead to mud pump, through the corresponding solids control equipment on the tank, separates solid particles in the mud step by step and mixes them through mud weighting & mixing system to meet drilling process requirements. Vacuum degasser on the mud tank removes harmful gases in the mud, thus to ensure drilling site environmental requirements and mud specific gravity.
Mud tank base is made of I-beam as the main beam plus other profiles, and it is made into a skid-shaped structure on the basis of meeting its strength requirements. HYANG mud tank adopts centralized electrical control, and its equipped manifolds (mixing manifold, mud gun manifold, mud pump suction manifold, supply manifold, etc.) are all built-in manifolds, which are convenient for installation, disassembly and transportation.

How to choose an ideal mud tank in a solids control system?
An ideal solids control system mud tank in drilling rig is mainly determined by the drilling depth and site environments. Usually, at least 4-5 sets of mud tanks are required for 3,000 m drilling, 6-8 sets of mud tanks are required for 4,000 m drilling, more than 8 sets of mud tanks are required for 5,000 m drilling solids control system.
