1. Shape and type
The drilling fluid shale shaker is a conventional equipment used to separate the solid phase from the circulating drilling fluid. There are many shapes and types of the shale shaker. The common ones are: drilling fluid flows on a square or rectangular screen cloth; Flow along the center on the rotating, non-vibrating cylindrical screen cloth; Drilling fluid flows from the center to the surrounding on the circular screen cloth.
Though vibrating screens of other shapes are tried out all the time, they are not commercialized. Most vibrating screens use rectangular screen cloth, large solid phases are removed at the low vibration end, and small solid phases, together with drilling fluid, flow through the screen surface and re-enter the circulation system. Solids larger than 74 microns in the drilling fluid are detrimental to the performance of the drilling fluid. The API200 mesh vibrating sieve is based on this. Only 3% of the weighted materials meeting the API classification criteria had a particle size larger than 74 microns. At this size, most of the barite will be removed from the drilling fluid, which will seriously affect the performance of the drilling fluid and the cost of drilling.
2. Structure
Drilling fluid shale shaker is mainly composed of base, screen box, screen mesh, mud logging tank, excitation motor, shock absorbing spring, control switch, adjustment device and other parts. Screen box: The screen box uses soft (hard) hook edge screen, frame screen, bolt tension or wedge block structure, so that the tension is safe and reliable and not easy to damage the screen. This knot is reliable enough, easy to operate and easy to maintain. Simple; mud logging device: learn from foreign famous brands, carry out structural optimization design, the effect of mud buffering is good, and the effect of prolonging the service life of the screen;
Power device: composed of shock beams and two branded explosion-proof vibration motors, the vibration noise is small, the operation effect is stable, the service life is long, and the installation and maintenance are convenient; shock absorption device: high-strength composite rubber structure, good stability and good shock absorption effect , low noise; adjustment device: adopts screw down adjustment structure, high adjustment accuracy, good stability, simple and convenient operation; control device: adopts brand explosion-proof or non-explosion-proof control device, good safety performance, strong performance of step-down startup protection, easy to use long life.
3. Working principle
The drilling fluid shale shaker is the first-level solid control equipment in the drilling mud solid phase control system, which handles the mud solid phase particles above 74 μm from the bottom of the well. The drilling fluid shale shaker is based on the vibrating motor under the action of the eccentric block force, which generates linear motion, circular motion or translational elliptical motion trajectory through the vibration beam transmission. The vertical line of the two motors and the angle between the screen form an angle or a straight line, so that the rotation directions of the two excitation motors are opposite, and the excitation force generated by their mutual movement cancels each other in the X direction, and the excitation force is zero. In the Y direction, the excitation forces of the two motors are superimposed on each other to drive the reciprocating motion of the entire upper and lower screen boxes along the Y axis direction, and at the same time, the mud on the screen surface is thrown up along the Y axis direction, and then falls freely to the direction of the Y axis. Moving forward, it is constantly thrown up and down to make the mud move forward, the mud liquid leaks into the mud tank through the screen, and some solid particles in the mud that are larger than the screen mesh are screened out, thus playing a role in mud liquid purification effect.
